My name is Andrea Kapahnke. I offer personalized massages for people who want to do something good for themselves, seek relaxation, or wish for a soothing break from stress and tension.
About me and my approach: My work combines personal experience, professional knowledge, and a good sense for what makes a massage pleasant and well balanced. For me, this includes the right massage techniques, appropriate pressure, a calm atmosphere, and attentive care for each person.
It is important to me that you feel well cared for in my practice. That is why I take the time for a personal consultation and tailor each treatment to your individual needs.
My Path to Massage
My interest in massages began at a young age. At 18, I received my first back massage with oil and was surprised by how deeply I was able to relax and how good I felt afterward. That experience sparked my curiosity. In the mid-1990s, I got my first book on massage and began learning the basics that way. I naturally wanted to put the knowledge and techniques described in it into practice, so I soon started massaging other people.
During my studies, massage remained a constant presence in my life. During my time in a student initiative, I was often on the go, and time and again I had the opportunity to give others a back massage.

What has shaped me the most
With the start of my professional career and my work in large corporations, an exciting, varied, and intensive period began for me. At the same time, my body started to signal its needs more clearly — especially through tension in my upper back and neck.
Over time, I therefore began to receive massages regularly myself in order to find relief and create a balance to everyday working life. When wellness massages were no longer enough, I also sought physiotherapeutic or osteopathic support.
This period fundamentally sharpened my perspective on massages. I became very aware of what is good for me and my body, what makes for a truly beneficial massage, and what tends to create restlessness or tension instead. It is precisely this fine sense that now informs my work.
My path to my own massage practice
Later, I started massaging friends again and, many years ago, experienced a moment that I still remember to this day: A friend who was initially very stressed and tense relaxed so deeply during the massage that she eventually fell asleep under my hands. In that moment, I realized that massage is much more to me than just a hobby. I understood that there is something special in the way I massage, and I wanted to develop further and learn more about it.
I then completed seminars at the Institut Wellness in Perfektion in Berlin, where I deepened my knowledge of classic full-body massage and preventive lymphatic drainage. Afterward, I put what I had learned directly into practice and massaged friends and acquaintances. In doing so, I gained valuable experience and received a great deal of positive feedback.
Finally, I decided to take the step into self-employment and build my own massage practice. At the same time, I successfully completed further training at the SWAV Sport & Wellness Akademie to become a certified specialist practitioner for massage, wellness, and prevention. I also took part in a seminar on foot reflexology according to Hanne Marquardt with Dr. phil. Reinhard v. Neipperg in Königsfeld. With every further training, it became clearer to me that I had found my own path in massage — professionally grounded, mindful, and in my own unique way.
At present, I am expanding my knowledge especially in foot reflexology according to Hanne Marquardt, as well as in the use of essential oils and aromatic oils.
What makes my massages special
Empathy, experience, and professional expertise define my work.
Each person brings different needs, areas of tension, and wishes. That’s why every session with me begins with a conversation. This allows me to understand your current situation and tailor the massage specifically to you.
It is important to me not to work in a schematic way, but to pay close attention to what feels right in the moment. My aim is to create a space in which you can relax, let go, and recharge your energy.
What you can expect from me:
- A personal initial consultation about your needs, wishes, and any current complaints or discomfort you may have
- A professionally sound and individually tailored treatment — not a one-size-fits-all approach
- A calm, respectful atmosphere where relaxation can naturally unfold
- Careful hygiene and a professional, responsible approach
I work with the whole person in mind — not just isolated tense areas. My massages are intended to create moments of genuine relaxation and help you feel more comfortable, more relaxed, and more balanced internally.
